Bandelier National Park
To the east of the Jemez Mountains lies Bandelier

Ghost Ranch
Known to the locals as "Rancho de Brujos,"
the name Ghost Ranch derivded from rumors of ghosts
and legends of local hangings. The Ghost Ranch has
two museums- The Florence Hawley Ellis Museum of
Anthropology and the Ruth Hall Museum of Paleontology.

Chaco Canyon & Chaco Culture National Park
Chaco Culture National Historical Park preserves

Santa Fe Ski Basin
The Santa Fe National Forest is one of the five
National Forests in New Mexico. Some of the finest
mountain scenery in the Southwest is found in the
1.6 million acres covered by the Santa Fe National
Forest. Elevations rise from 5,300 to 13,103 feet
at the summit of Truchas Peak, located within the
Pecos Wilderness.
