Rio Grande
The Rio Grande journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf
of Mexico. It passes through 800 foot chasms of
the Rio Grande Gorge, a wild and remote area of
northern New Mexico. The canyon provides a wide
variety of recreational opportunities, luring fishermen,
hikers, artists, and whitewater boating enthusiasts.

Jemez Mountain River
A 74 mile route, the Jemez River is great for fly
fishing and trout. The most interesting section
is around Jemez Springs - with numerous hot springs
and a forceful waterfall, Soda Dam, where the river
drops 15 feet through a curious formation made of
deposited minerals from nearby thermal springs.

Chama River
There are only four main access points to the Chama
but each one gives fisherman the opportunity to
catch a trophy Brown Trout. The Rio Chama
is quite a river, measuring about 15 to 20ft wide
at most places.
